PSC Kid Zone!

On Sunday, September 7th, we'll be kicking off a new kids series AND an exciting addition to an already awesome kids' ministry:  PSC Kid Zone!

These and others are values that the greatest sports heroes in Sportsland hold true. To their find inspiration, we will look at one of the greatest teams in the Bible, the Apostles of Christ.

New series begins THIS Sunday!  PSC Kids Workers, please join us this Saturday for decorating!

About PSC Kids!

We take the unchanging word of God and present it to your kids in a creative way to get your kids excited about God and Church.  The program we use is called "Elevate."   Each week's lesson is centered around a Biblical story or concept.  Our church will be a place your kids can't wait to come to and we'll be here to provide a fun and exciting experience that will change the life of your child forever!

Discovers (birth through 18 months)

Babies are well-cared for in the Nursery for the entire service.  Please check in at the Children's Booth prior to the service.

Explorers (18 months through 2 years)

Your toddler will have lots of room to play and grow in the Explorers room!  Care is provided for the entire service.

Kids' Church (3 years old through 5th grade)

Church so awesome, kids call it "Cool Church!"  Beginning September 7th, the kids will check-in as soon as they arrive, as early as 9:30am.  Kid Zone is a place where the kids can play games and enjoy being a kids before church starts.  This time will also be used to listen to the main point, Bible verse, receive stamps and check out the PSC Kids prize booth.  From Kid Zone, your kids will go directly into their own worship time where they sing together and learn about the week's lesson from a video or skit.  The music is exciting, and the videos captivating.  They later divide into small groups where they'll reinforce the lesson with age-appropriate activities.  They meet back in the kids' worship center at the end of the lesson for an additional time of worship.   

Checking In

We value the safety of children.   For their protection, we ask that you register and check-in your kids at the Kids' Check-in Desk prior to the start of the service.  If your son/daughter has any food allergies or special needs, please share that information on the registration form so we can pass on any concerns to your child's teachers.

New instructions effective September 7, 2008:
Parent/Guardian only will sign children onto appropriate sign-in sheet.  Your child will receive their name badge.  Parents will be issued a security tag.  The security tag is designed to go on your key chain/ring to keep with you.  It will not be turned in to PSC Kids.  Every Sunday before you walk away from the registration booth, make sure you have your security tag.  YOU WILL NEED IT in order to receive your child after the church service.  If you forgot your tag, we will issue you a temporary security tag.  If your security tag is lost or damaged, we will issue a temporary tag as well as make a new tag for you.

Once you check-in, you may drop your kids in The Kid Zone where your kid can be a kid - playing games, being loud, and having fun!  Parents - you are now free to be grown ups and fellowship and worship!

Before pick-up, have your security tag ready!  Stop at the door to the kids worship center.  A PSC kids worker will ask for your tag, call for your child, then match your security tag to your Child's name badge.  We will collect childrens' name badges, and your child will be released to you!

Optional for 4th and 5th graders:  When you check your kids in, you will have the option of allowing your 4th and 5th grade children to check out on their own at the end of church.
